Quality and certification
We strive for operational and production excellence and quality is our top priority.
The raw materials, semi-finished products and packaging involved in the production process are verified upon delivery. Quality control is not limited to the finished product, we verify it at all stages of the technological process. Each batch of products undergoes an organoleptic, physicochemical and microbiological assessment. Before being released for sale, the ice cream is quarantined for 72 hours. This is the time to perform the entire test package that guarantees the highest quality and safety of our products for the health of the consumer. Analyzes are performed both in the in-house laboratory and periodically verified by accredited external laboratories. Every year, numerous audits are carried out in our plants by supervisory authorities, certification bodies as well as partners and customers - all of them pass positively.
The proof of producing ice cream of the highest, repeatable quality is the possession of international quality system certificates: • The BRC (British Retail Consortium) certificate is an international food safety standard developed by the British Retail Consortium, required by most hypermarkets throughout Europe. BRC specifies a number of requirements that a given company should meet in order to ensure the highest quality and safety of the offered products - in the production, packaging, storage and distribution process.
• International Food Standard (IFS Food) - is a food safety standard known throughout Europe and the world, combining the requirements of ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP and GHP. At the same time, this standard defines detailed requirements that must be met in order to guarantee the safety and the required quality level of the finished product.
• RFA is a global program for the development of sustainable cocoa, coffee and tea cultivation and a sign of sustainable agriculture.
